Mrs. Ada Leigh Minish Mace, age 81, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at her home.

Born November 8, 1944 in McDowell County, Ada was the daughter of the late Coleman and Mae Johnson Minish.  Ada loved being outside.  She especially enjoyed mowing her grass and working in her flower garden.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Mace; a son, Freddy Snead; a grandchild, Levi Huskins; and a great grandchild, Valkyrie Poole.

Survivors include two daughters, Tanya Lee (husband Jody) and Marsha Endicott; a son Sean Mace (wife Jennifer; her significant other, Earl Trivette; a fur baby, Pookie; her grandchildren, Christina, Alexis and Rustyn; her great grandchildren, Aniyah, Archer and Oliver;  she is also survived by numerous other relatives.

There will be a celebration of life held for Ada at a later time.
