Alana Dawn Warren, 45, of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Alana was born on October 6, 1978 in Burke County to Robert Wayne Chester and Elizabeth Ann Wyke.

Though her physical presence may have departed from our lives, the deep imprint she left on our hearts will live on forever. Dawn was a beacon of love and warmth that illuminated the lives of those fortunate enough to walk alongside her. The love she shared with her husband, Jamie, was nothing short of inspirational. Their bond was a shining testament to the power of loyalty and unwavering commitment. Together, they weathered life's storms and reveled in its triumphs, enveloped in a love that knew no bounds. As a mother to Haleigh Warren and Reagan, Dawn nurturing spirit knew no limits. She tenderly raised her children, instilling in them the values that would shape their futures. Her love was a constant source of strength in their lives, as she guided them with wisdom, kindness, and endless encouragement. Haleigh and Reagan, you were blessed with a mother who believed in you wholeheartedly, and her legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of your lives. But Dawn's love was not confined to her immediate family; it radiated outwards, touching the lives of everyone around her . Those precious souls brought joy to her days, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Through her patience, warmth, and gentle guidance, Dawn gifted them a friendship, love, a love that will continue to shape their lives as they grow. Humble was the essence of Dawn character. In her quiet grace, she found strength and found joy in life's simplest pleasures. Dawn taught us the power of humility, reminding us that true greatness lies in acts of selflessness and kindness. Her humility in the face of hardship was a lesson to us all, teaching us to navigate difficult times with grace and dignity. As we bid our final farewell, let us remember Dawn for the radiant light she was in this world. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Anne Wyke; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Virginia Wyke.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jamie Aaron Warren; father, Robert Wayne Chester; daughters, Haleigh Marie Warren (Matthew Walton) and Raegan Dawn Warren; sister, Holly Marie Black; stepbrother, Robbie Chester (Crystal); niece, Alana Shay Black, and nephew, Avery Charles Black.

A celebration of Dawn's life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Hartland Baptist Church, 3730 Hartland Road, Morganton,  from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
