Mrs. Alice Safriet Hightower, age 80, of Caldwell County, NC, passed away on July 4, 2023 at her home.

Alice was born to the late James King Safriet and Joyce Faye Setzer Safriet in Caldwell County NC on February 20, 1943.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Judy Arthur.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband Ottis Hightower of the home; one son James Christopher Hightower of Hickory; one daughter Susan Cook of Cape Coral Florida; one brother James Safriet; four grandchildren Michele Mizen, Ashley Cook, Garrett Cook, and Joie Shelton; and three great-grandchildren Zoey Mizen, Kellan Mizen, and Freya Shelton.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
