Ashley Kristian Simmons, age 38, of Connelly Springs, NC passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

Ashley was born on January 23, 1987 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Kristie Simmons Legg.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Kayla Legg; brother, Blaine Legg Jr.; daughter, Kristie Simmons; grandfather, Jerry Simmons (Heather Hennessee); grandmother, Brenda Clement (Roger Clement); and other numerous loved ones.

Ashley was very outgoing. She loved spending time outdoors. She was also very athletic. Ashley was exceptionally intelligent. She will be remembered for her bright, sparkling personality, and she will be dearly missed.

A memorial service to honor the life of Ashley Simmons will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 2:00PM at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

The family requests that any flowers or floral arrangements be sent to Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.
