Barbara Bolick Dillard, age 71, of Lenoir left this earth for her Heavenly home on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Watauga Medical Center. She was born February 23, 1953 in Caldwell County to the late Dennis R. Bolick and Freida Edmisten Bolick.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Denise Bolick and Marilyn Cozart.

Mrs. Dillard never met a stranger and you could not meet a better person than her. She never had a harsh word for anyone.  She will be remembered for the unwavering love and devotion she had for her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she will be greatly missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband and companion for 56 years, Steve Dillard, of the home; one son, Joshua R. Dillard (Kristy) of Lenoir; one daughter, Shannon Dillard Clark (Jr.) of Lenoir; one brother, Eddie Bolick (Melissa) of Lenoir; four grandchildren, Alan Clark (Katie), Justin Clark (Jaci), Jacob Dillard, and Anamarie Dillard; two great-grandchildren, Kimber Clark and Ryker Clark; and her two beloved fur babies, Dolittle and Gabby.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Laytown Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Pritchard officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of family and close friends.
