Ben Daniels, age 96, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1928 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late Jimmy Daniels and Lovie Dutton Daniels. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Henry Daniels; one granddaughter, April Vandergrift; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory include three sons, Ronald Daniels (Barbara) of New Jersey, Robert Daniels (Sharon) of Virginia, and Larry Daniels (Kelly) of Indiana; two daughters, Wanda Kurzhals and Marlene King both of Lenoir; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Parker officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
