Betty Jean Pritchard, 87, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson.

Born October 6, 1935 in Caldwell County, Betty was a daughter of the late Eugene and Amy Walker Pritchard.  Betty retired from Bernhardt Furniture.  She enjoyed crafting.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Breedlove; a great grandson, Dylan Peyton; brothers, Johnny Pritchard and Jerry Pritchard; sisters, Barbara Powell, and Glenda Moretz; and her beloved pet, Ruby.

Survivors include her children, Rikki Powell (wife Kathy), Tamara Hibbard (husband Jeff) and Andrea Hendrix (husband John); 11 grandchildren, April Bivens, Amanda Presnell, Samantha Byrd, Olivia Thornton, Jeffrey Hibbard, Chesnee Hibbard, Jacob Hibbard, Storm Stevens, Brooke Hendrix, Derrick Ray and Casey Ray; she is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Greer-McElveen Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Helderman officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
