Beulah Ellen Bradshaw Cannon, age 80, previously of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Watauga Medical Center. She was born August 23, 1942 in Caldwell County to the late Charlie F. and Sallie Coffey Bradshaw. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Cannon; one son, Grady Walter Helton; two brothers, Frank G. Bradshaw and Gordon Bradshaw; and two sisters, Agnes L. Wilcox, and Mary Greer.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Tony Helton, of Tennessee; one daughter, Lisa Simmons of Lenoir; one brother, Gaither Bradshaw, of Lenoir; three beloved grandchildren, Brittany Helton, John Simmons, and Jesse Simmons; and four great-grandchildren, Cooper, Carmen, Isiah, and Grayli Simmons.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Raymond Spann. Interment will immediately follow at Tolbert Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
