Ms. Billie "Sharon" White, age 79, of Lenoir went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

Sharon was a lifelong member of Bethel Advent Christian Church. She was also a bit of a bingo enthusiast.  One of the things she enjoyed most was hosting large dinners for her family and friends.

Born May 21, 1946 in Caldwell County, Sharon was the daughter of the late William Columbus and Nancy Catherine Roberts White. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Roberts, Frank White, Hayden White and Jerry White.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews. Lisa Burgess, Michael White (wife Lisa); Lynn Weller and Harvey Lawing. She is also survived by many relatives including cousins Peggy and Lorrie Hice. Through her life Michael, Lisa and Lorrie were loved as if they were her children and Peggy loved as a sister.

A memorial service for Sharon will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Advent Christian Church with Pastor Don Key officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
