Blanch Moore Harmon Ham went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 11, 2025.
She was born on February 22nd, 1927 to the late Bynum and Ida Parliar Moore.
She was a member of Union grove Baptist Church for over 70 years. She held many positions in her church. She retired from Singer Furniture after 17 years.
Blanch loved cooking, quilting, and gardening, as well as taking care of others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Ivey, Dana, Lewis, and Clyde; 2 sisters, Hazel Arnette and Bertha Greene; husbands, Paul Harmon, Elmer Ham, and Walter Branch; 2 step-sons, Jimmy Ham and Ken Ham; 3 sons in law; 1 step-great granddaughter; 1 granddaughter in law; and 1 great son in law.
Those left to cherish her memories are 1 sister, Betty Greene; 3 daughters, Pauline Pyatte (Tony), Wanda Foster, and Joyce Price, as well as Sandra Moore who she considered to be a 4th daughter to her; 5 grandsons, Gregory and Wesley Brown, Tony and Paul Crisp, and David Price Jr.; 1 granddaughter, Hope Price Barlow; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 2 step-children, David Ham (Sally) and Debbie Wilson (Dennis); several step grandchildren; special friend, Gerald Braswell; and many many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to honor the life of Blanch Ham will be held on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at 2:00PM at Union Grove Baptist Church.
The family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:00PM.
Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Amorem in Hudson, NC or to the prayer garden at Union Grove Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Greg and Wes Brown, Tony and Paul Crisp, David Price Jr. and Hope Barlow. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Barlow, David Price III, Jakob Price, and Heather Price.
Flower girls will be Corinne Crisp, Katie Crisp, Nicole Barlow, and Taylor Crisp.
A special thanks to Pastor Sam Craven, Pastor Jeff Lambert, and Pastor Zac Bryant.
Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory will be serving the family.
