Mrs. Bonnie Carol Fleming Davenport of Hudson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2026 while at Trinity Village in Hickory, NC.

She was born June 29, 1939 in Morganton, NC to the late George Fleming and Callie Whisnant Fleming.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dale Davenport; one sister, Mae Pendergrast; and three brothers, Everett “Bus” Fleming, Phifer “Buck” Fleming and Ned “Toddie” Fleming.

Those left to cherish her memory include three brothers, Ray Fleming and wife Mary, Ben Fleming and wife Peggy and Tom Fleming and wife Mae; children, Deana Coffey and husband Tommy, Marvin Davenport and wife Geba, Steven Davenport, and Kristy Martin and husband Paul; grandchildren, Martin and wife Ashley, Amy and husband Mark, Alissa and fiancé Josh, Jalen, Alex, Jesse, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Henry, Brody, Fletcher, Jackson and Laney; and bonus great-grandchildren, Levi, Parker and Chandler.

Bonnie was a devoted Christian and loved her Lord and Savior. She dearly loved her family. She enjoyed reading, tending to her flowers and gardening. She and Dale were long-time members of Northside Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Lance Main and Pastor Tommy Bridges officiating. Internment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Martin Coffey, Alex Martin, Mark Schroeder, Josh Rogers, Henry Coffey and Brody Coffey. Honorary pallbearers will be Fletcher Coffey and Jackson Martin.
