Boyd Spencer Adkins, age 63, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at his residence. He was born February 20. 1962 in Caldwell County to the late Loyd McKinley Adkins and Ruby Greer Adkins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Loyd McKinley Adkins, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Daughter, Mindy Dame; Son, Marshall "Shawn" Adkins; Grandchildren, Caitlin and Haley Dame and Honeybun;

Sisters, Katherine Adkins, Margaret Snyder, and Debra Pennell; Special friends, Pee Wee Bumgarner, Cookie, and Johnny Cline, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
