Ms. Caroline Sherrill Lineback, age 75, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Lenoir Healthcare after an extended illness.

Born July 12, 1948 in Caldwell County, Caroline was a daughter of the late William Seldon Lineback and Ruth Ballew Sherrill.  Caroline was an employee of Caldwell Memorial Hospital and retired after 42 years of service.  She was an avid reader.  Caroline was a member of Tabernacle Advent Christian Church where she served as church secretary and assistant pianist.  She loved animals, especially cats.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother James E. Sherrill and an infant sister.

Survivors include a brother, Edward Lineback (wife Linda Sue Lineback); also several cousins.

A graveside memorial service celebrating Caroline's life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2PM at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church Cemetery.
