Carolyn Robbins Hicks, age, 77, of Granite Falls passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born July 8, 1947 in Caldwell County to the late Ernest Wayne Robbins and Edith Coffey Robbins. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, George "Lewis" Hicks; one brother, Wayne Milton Robbins; one sister, Cherry Phyllis Robbins; one step-son, Chad Hicks; and one step-granddaughter, Tiffany Bumgarner.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Eric Davis (Debbie), Jeff Davis, Jr., and Seth Hicks (Kelia); one step-son, David Hicks; two step-daughters, Anita Hicks and Cathy McBryde (Bob); one brother, Bobby Robbins (Debbie); two sisters, Donna Herman (R.L.) and Lynn Roberts (Joe); one sister-in-law, Gail Robbins; four grandchildren, Kinsley Hicks, Haley Barlow, Grace Corbett, and Khloe Corbett; a host of beloved step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Center Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Helderman and Rev. Ken Atkins officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
