Charlene Adams Taylor, age 52, of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 7, 1971 in Caldwell County to Patsy Widner Adams and the late Charlie Adams. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by two sons, Seth Taylor and Kent Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her mother include one son, Matthew Taylor and wife Katie; three grandchildren, Londyn Bailey, Evalyn Taylor, and Oakley Taylor; three sisters, Lisa Mahala and husband Randall, Janice Adams Chester, and Regina Sanders and husband Buddy; one brother, Charlie Owen Adams and wife Nan; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her very special friend, Virginia Clark.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Refuge Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Darren Peterson officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Pinecrest Cemetery of Granite Falls.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Taylor, Charlie Owen Adams, Buddy Sanders, Joshua Huskey, Dusty Boston, Duane Clark, and Nathaniel Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be Nahum Garnes and Robert Hall.
