Charles "Eddie" Edward Moore, age 70, of Lenoir passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. He was born September 12, 1955 in Cumberland County, NC to Pearl Shukis Blackwell and the late Charles R. Moore. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by one grandson, Austin Moore.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Pearl Shukis Blackwell; one daughter, Joy Ward; one son, Charles Moore; three sisters, Catherine Brock (Alwyn), Pamela Bowen, Carolyn Walker (Jeff); five grandchildren, Justin, Carson, Christopher, Amber, and Kayla; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
