Mr. Christopher Shane Walsh, age 36, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at his home.

Born September 15, 1989 in Burke County, Christopher was a son of Sherry Kay Clark Moore and the late Billy Ray Walsh.  Christopher enjoyed working on lawnmowers and fixing gadgets.  He will be remembered as a loving son, father and friend.  In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a daughter, Kylie Nevaeh Walsh; his step father, Jeffrey Norman Moore; a brother, Ethan Gage Gunnoe; sisters, Emily Hope McCarter and Regina Walsh Kistler; he is also survived by numerous other relatives.

There will be no services held at this time.
