Claudia Deanna Beard Cooke, age 77, of Hudson, North Carolina, passed away on October 13, 2025.

Claudia was born on December 4, 1947 to the late Edward and Betty Beard in Caldwell County, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jim Cooke.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Preston Woods and wife Andrea and Chris Cooke and wife Aimee; Daughters, Gina Myers and husband Andy, and Tricia Estes and husband Marlon; sister, Belinda Moore and husband Randall; brother, Greg Beard; and grandchildren, Gracie Myers, Gabrielle Woods, Taylor Cannon, Trilon Estes, Emily Hoerner, Natalie Hoerner, and Maxwell Hoerner.

Claudia was active in church and loved the Lord. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family holidays as well as playing canasta. She will be dearly missed.

A graveside service to honor the life of Claudia Cooke will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Allen Norrod officiating.
