Courtney Shree Young went to her heavenly home unexpectedly on Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was 29 years old. She was born on November 7, 1994 to Ashley and Tony Young in Ashe County, NC.

She is survived by her mother and three beautiful children, a son, Brantley Wade Stamper and two daughters, Ashlynn Nicole Cameron, and Aubrey Shree Cameron; two brothers, Austin and Dustin Young; one sister, Victoria Young whom she loved dearly; and a grandfather, Donald Hall and his wife Gail.

Courtney currently resided in Wilkes County with her sister Victoria, but also lived in Blountville, TN with her mom and stepdad Sam Barrett for a period. Brantley, Ashlynn, and Aubrey loved spending time with Nanny Ashley.

Courtney had many extended family and friends that loved her and one special dear friend Carrie Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Wade Young; her infant daughter Eve Nicole; maternal grandmother Shirley Hall; maternal great-grandmother Mildred Hall; and her maternal great-grandmother Hattie Jane Arnold.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Wilfong presiding.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a member of the family for the children's care.
