Dallas Wilson Coffey, age 38, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025.

Dallas was born on March 12, 1987 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to Thomas Coffey and Shelia Summerlin.

Dallas is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Polly Coffey and Mae Lackey and grandfather, Wilson Coffey.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his father, Thomas Coffey; mother, Shelia Summerlin; step-mother, Darlene Coffey; love of his life, Sonja Foster; uncles, Terry Coffey, James Coffey, and Greg Childers (Carol); aunt, Christie Coffey; grandfather, Roy Lackey; and numerous beloved cousins.

Dallas loved the outdoors and sports. He enjoyed football and wrestling. He also loved his fur babies, Taz, Sugar, Sheba, Cheech, and Moppers. Most importantly, Dallas loved his family, and they loved him just as much.

A memorial service to honor the life of Dallas Wilson Coffey will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM with Reverend Nicky Waters officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
