Daniel Lee Marley, age 75, of Hickory passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at College Pines Health and Rehabilitation. He was born May 15, 1948 in Wilkes County to the late James Roy Marley and Virginia Hamby Marley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Reba Thomas Marley; three brothers, Horace Marley, John Allen Marley, and Donald Marley; and one sister, Reba Anderson.

Those left to cherish his memory include four brothers, Ronald William Marley and wife Vicki of Hudson, James Ray Marley of Hudson, David Marley and wife Donna of Lenoir, and Gene Marley and wife Mary of Taylorsville; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Danny Wright. Interment will immediately follow at Zacks Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
