Daniel Ray McCall, 75 of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 following a period of declining health.

Daniel was born on May 15, 1948 in Caldwell County to the late Earl Howard Coffey and Elsie Naomie Coffey. Daniel was a veteran of the US Army and proudly served as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.

In addition to his biological parents, he is preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Jacob Ray McCall and Letha Washington Winkler McCall; brothers, Paul Coffey and Tony McCall; and sister, Brenda Carole McCall.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Paulette Sherrill McCall; daughter, Rhonda Cline and husband Mark; grandchildren, Morgan Todd and husband Daniel, and Katherine Cline; and sister, Johnsie Hayes.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
