Daniel McCroskey Sr. of Hudson, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Daniel was born on December 30, 1943 to the late Earl and Gladys Hatley McCroskey in Watauga County, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, David McCroskey and Roger McCroskey and sisters, Louise Harrison, Lorrain McCroskey, and Jessie Price.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children; Kellie Reep (Jason) of Tennessee, Daniel McCroskey Jr., and Joyce McCroskey; sisters, Estie Ruppert and Joy Martinez (Tony); grandchildren, Shyann Sigmon and D.J. Sigmon; and one great grandchild, Chesney Simmons.

The family will hold a private memorial service in the spring.
