Daryl Keith Bright, age 67, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 25, 1956 in Knox County to the late Jimmy Joe Bright. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by one sister, Cindy Bright.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Sherrie Goble Bright, of the home; one son, Shannon Bright and significant other Anna; one daughter, Nicole Hathcock and husband Brian; two step-sons, Jonathan Coffey and significant other Amy, and Jesse Coffey; one brother, Rick Bright and wife Nancy; fifteen beloved grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 1, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1939 Paul Shuping Avenue, Morganton, NC 28655.
