David William Coffey; age 61, of Granite Falls passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at his residence. He was born November 2, 1964 in Caldwell County to the late Larry William Coffey and Nancy Virginia Hartley Coffey.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Deborah Haas Coffey; one son, Russell Coffey and wife Amy; two sisters, Angie Coffey and Michelle Clark and husband Terry; one beloved granddaughter, Gracie Peterson and significant other Hunter Greer; brother-in-law, Anthony Haas and wife Susan; two sisters-in-law, Laura Norris and Kim Singleton and husband Buck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.
