David Thomas Prestwood, age 47, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

David was born on March 9, 1979 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to David Richard Prestwood and the late Cynthia Pennell Prestwood.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, David R. Prestwood and wife, Kimberly; sister, Pauline Prestwood; brothers, Weldon Seeds, Paul Seeds and wife, Heather; uncles, Joseph Prestwood, Samuel Prestwood and wife, Angela, and Gary Pennell and wife, Sylvia; cousin, James Littlejohn; and numerous other loved ones.
