Dazine Johnson Baker Stallard, age 86, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Dazine was born on November 10, 1938 in Catawba County to the late Johnny Johnson Sr. and Allene Mitchell Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Wayne Johnson, and sisters, Elaine Taschner and Trina Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Eric Baker (Alicia), Marion Baker, and Chris Baker (Rene); daughter, Cynthia Moretz (Johnny Sr.); brother, Johnny Lee Johnson Jr. (Gipsy Lamas); 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Dazine was outgoing and funny. She was known and loved for her fun and loving personality. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service for Dazine Stallard will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM with Reverend Danny Carr officiating.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Hibriten Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Baker, Marion Baker, Johnny Moretz Sr., Joshua Baker, and Jesse Moretz.
