Dean Edwin Wilkie, age 77, of Lenoir passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 at Carolinas Medical Center of Charlotte. He was born February 10, 1948 in Caldwell County to the late Glenn Wilkie and Fern McCrary Wilkie. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hunt Wilkie; and one brother, Greg Wilkie.

Mr. Wilkie was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Jonathon Wilkie and Jason Wilkie; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Williams and husband Ted, and Carol Rossoe; and one niece, Susan Duncan.

The family will receive friends and well-wishers on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.
