Debra Elaine Hickman, 67 of Lenoir passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 following a period of declining health.

Debra was born on September 6, 1956 in Caldwell County to the late Council Pennell and Aileen Greer Pennell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Tony Council Pennell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dwight Hickman; a daughter, Margo Hickman; sister, Bunnie Burchette and husband Paul; and three grandchildren, Desiree Hickman, Keshawn Jones and Jemine Jones.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amorem of Hudson at 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.

A Memorial Service will be Monday, October 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Lenoir. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the church.
