Dennis Lee Norris, age 72, of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. He was born March 1, 1952 in Caldwell County to the late Wade Smith Norris and Trilla Crowder Norris. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Norris.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 45 years, Pamela Carroll Norris, of the home; two daughters, Ashley Grose (Jamie Johnson) of Lenoir, and Renee Norris of Hudson; two brothers, Robert Norris (Patsy) of Conover, and Earl Owens (Sue) of Hudson; two sisters, Hilda Taylor and Loretta Chester, both of Gamewell; four beloved grandchildren, Chase Grose, Elizabeth Coffey, Kennedy Felix, and Brittany Swanson; one great-granddaughter, Harper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. Randy Goode officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645; or Kings Creek Baptist Church, 4698 Kings Creek Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
