Donald Leroy Greene, age 67, of Lenoir passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at Carolina Rehab of Burke. He was born January 21, 1958 in Caldwell County to the late Lester and Lela Greene. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Penny Phillips Greene; and one brother, Bill Greene.

Those left to cherish his memory include three daughters, Amy Stapleton (James Webb), Misty Barlowe (Aaron), and Amanda Paige; one brother, Robert Greene (Cathy); one sister, Carolyn Wilcox; and five beloved grandchildren, Waylon Stapleton, Braxton Barlowe, Brody Barlowe, Payton Hewitt, and Erryn Hewitt.
