Donna Sue Penland, 71, of Lenoir, passed away on July 11, 2025.  Donna was a dedicated hard working individual who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She made Lenoir, North Carolina her forever home in 2011.  Donna was educated in theology, animal grooming that included Biltmore Estates Pets and working with her sisters at Donna's café in Hudson.

She was a faithful member of her church, Mt. Zion Methodist Church, for many years. Donna's passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew her. Her memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Donna's Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Methodist Church of Lenoir.
