Dorian Shawn Dodd of Lenoir, NC passed away at age 65 on Monday, November 25, 2024. Dorian was born on January 29, 1959 to Bobby and Laura Ann Dodd in Davidson County, TN. He graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1977. Following high school, Dorian served in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. John F. Kennedy, and was honorably discharged in 1983. After leaving the military, Dorian worked as a field service computer technician for over 40 years and was well-respected in the industry. In his spare time he was an avid reader and musician, and loved to play the guitar.

Dorian was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Dodd and his sister, Bridget Pack. He was survived by his mother, Laura Ann Dodd, his sister Valli Hester, his wife Carol Dodd, and his daughter Megan Dodd. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation online.
