Dorothy Marianella Cowan Smith, age 84, of Lenoir passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born April 5, 1939 to the late Luther French Cowan and Dorothy Eloise Drye Cowan.

Those left surviving include one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Smith of Darby; and one granddaughter, Selene Mae Wilcosky.

Private services will be held at a later date.
