Mr. Douglas "Doug" Eugene Gentry, age 63, of Hudson, NC passed away on December 19, 2023.

Douglas was born to the late Junior Gentry and Mary Hollars Gentry on December 17, 1960 in Burke County, NC.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy Bean Gentry and numerous other relatives.

Douglas loved golfing and racing cars. He had a big heart and loved to talk.

A memorial service to honor the life of Douglas Gentry will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2pm at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Parker officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
