Mrs. Dovie Egene "Jean" Blanton passed away on Sunday July 2, 2023 in Caldwell County. Dovie was born to the late Charles Alfred Pack and Ruth Watkins Pack in Buncombe County, NC.

In addition to her parents, Dovie was preceded in death by her husband Guy Blanton, and her sister Donna Ledford.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers Ricky Pack, Jackie Pack (Pam), and Charles Alan Pack (Susan).

A funeral service for Mrs. Blanton will be held in the chapel of Greer-McElveen Funeral Home on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery in Buncombe County at 392 Tabernacle Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Greer- McElveen Funeral Home.
