Edward Steve Bryant, age 75, of Hudson went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Amorem Hospice of Burke. He was born August 25, 1948 in Caldwell County to the late Davis P. Bryant and Vernie McDade Bryant. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Joanne Keller and Shelby Jean Watson; and two brothers, Kenneth Wayne Bryant and infant Sam Bryant.

Mr. Bryant grew up on the family farm in Cajah's Mountain and served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War Era. He worked in the furniture industry until his retirement from Kroehler Furniture in 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 53 years, Susette Harris Bryant of the home; one son, Keith Bryant and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Link, Elijah, and River Bryant, and Haylie and Maddox Hart; two brothers, Richard Bryant and wife Ailene, and Gerald Bryant and wife Edie; one sister, Vickie Hatley and husband Lloyd; and one sister-in-law, Pat Bryant.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 12, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
