Elijah Grey Trantham, 16 months, of Lenoir passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023.

Elijah was born on May 16, 2022 in Burke County to Anthony Joseph Trantham and Hailey Dawn Trantham.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and father;  baby sister, Kinsley Trantham; grandparents, Jacob and Brittnay Trantham, and Ada Osborne; great-grandparents, Pam Church; aunt, Harlee Trantham and Alexa Proctor; and great uncles, Josh Thompson.

"It is difficult to accept that you would have turned 3 years old already and be turning 4 this year. Your memory is deeply cherished, and we miss you immensely. Your sister always loves pointing at your pictures and saying "bubba" and start giggling we all miss you and love you so much baby boy I really wish you was here,I imagine how things would be if you was here and how you and your sister would be together I already see you being a big brother to her and then y'all playing getting along then fighting sometimes lol we really all miss you and loves you ,I miss waking up and seeing your smile, hearing your laugh, you always saying "dada", and learning new things every day. You were just starting to walk and talk, and you always loved smiling, laughing and jumping. It feels so lonely without you being here. Your daddy and I keep looking at all your pictures and videos, your clothes, bed, walker, everything. You always knew how to put a smile on our faces and make our days, your sister is getting so big baby boy" – Love, Mom and Dad

His service was held at Tom Creek Falls Trail in Marion ,NC on Oct 14th 2023
