Elizabeth "Sally" Ann Cox, age 67, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Lenoir Healthcare. She was born December 5, 1956 in Caldwell County to the late Clarence Edward Cox and Pearl Jane Hatley Cox. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Melissa Lynn Hatley; and two brothers, Jerry Lee Saunders and Clarence Edward Cox, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her dear friends, Suzanne and Steve Earp of Lenoir; one sister, Dorothy Mae Cox; three nephews, Jerry Lee Hatley, Calvin Dale Harmon, and Jerry Hamilton Saunders; one niece, Shelley Faye Saunders; and numerous beloved friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Burnett officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to Lenoir Housing Authority, 431 Vance St NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
