Mrs. Elizabeth Hattie Oliver Rogers, age 90, of Lenoir passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson.

Born May 11, 1935 in Caldwell County, Elizabeth was a daughter of the late James Rufus and Nellie Rebecca Nelson Oliver.  Elizabeth enjoyed being outdoors.  Especially camping and watching the wildlife.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rogers; two children, Jackie Parsons and Lisa Thomas; numerous siblings, Clarence, Nora, Jesse, Pauline, Richard, Celia, Rufus, Carl and Olivia.

Survivors include her children, Royce Rogers (wife Tracy), Keith Howell and Quintin Howell (wife Carolyn), Erana Rogers (husband Matt Crisp), Angela Causby and Druscilla Grady; a sister, Nancy Huffman (husband Leroy); seven grandchildren, Cayden, Kaily, Chad, Matt, Brianna, Dion and Chantel; she is also survived by six great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

A memorial service celebrating Elizabeth's life will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Greer-McElveen Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Spann officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
