Elizabeth Joann Ward Stafford, age 70, of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 9th, 2025.

Elizabeth was born on August 15th, 1954 in Washington County, Virginia to the late Bynum and Geneva Ward.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Stafford; son, Robbie Lee Stafford; and sister, Kay Burns.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ricky Stafford; brother, Jeff Ward ; sisters, Judy Burns, Renee Harrison, Joyce Profitt , and Hope Bowen ; grandchildren, Shay Stafford, Shyan Stafford, Makayla Stafford, Tyler Stafford; and great-grandchild, Avery Day.

The family will hold private services at a later time.
