Estel Valentine Osborne Jr., age 63, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away in his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Estel was born on July 4, 1961 to the late Estelle Osborne Sr. and Hattie Setzer Osborne in Caldwell County, North Carolina.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jane Tester Osborne; brothers, Thomas Dellinger, Billy Mulkey and wife Penny, and Robert Mulkey; and sister, Tommy Jean Lane, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Estel was a very well loved preacher. He preached every Sunday for 8 years at the prison in Hudson, NC. He was loved by all who knew him, and he was a father figure to many. Estel was an avid fisherman, and he also loved the Atlanta Braves. He will be dearly missed.

A memorial service to honor the life of Estel Osborne will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Greer McElveen Funeral Home Chapel at 11am with Reverend Paul Grindstaff officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10am until 11am.
