Etta Joanne Parlier Moore, age 89, of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Autumn Care of Drexel. She was born August 12, 1936 in Caldwell County to the late Clarence C. Parlier and Hazel Thompson Parlier. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Curtis Moore, and son, Charles Alan Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Martha Watts and husband William "Keith" Watts of Valdese; one brother, Thomas Shuford Parlier and wife Beverly of Franklin, NC; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Andrews Moore; three beloved grandchildren, Jessica Clark Johnson and husband Chris, Kaitlin Brette Moore Crawford and husband Riley, and Jared Alan Moore and wife Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Aksel Charles Johnson and Asa Ka'iolana Crawford.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. Jenny Thompson officiating.
