Freddy Lee Auton, age 79, of Boomer passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born May 8, 1945 in Caldwell County to the late Charlie Auton and Mamie Hatton Auton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Miller; granddaughter, Felicia Miller; step-son, Eugene Blevins, Jr.; brother, Bill Auton; sister, Judy Hendrix; and nephew, Kevin Hendrix.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 30 years, Delilah Kay Lappas Auton, of the home; one step-daughter, Angela Shumaker of Hudson; one sister, Betty Ferguson, of Boomer; two grandchildren, Joshua Miller and Cheyenne Miller; and one step-grandson, Noah Shumaker.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
