Freida Cloer Phillips passed away on January 7, 2025, at the Cloer family homeplace.

Freida was born to Carl and Nancy Cloer on June 18, 1935, in the Patterson community.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Phillips, a brother, Carroll Cloer.

Those left to cherish Freida's memory include four sons, James ( wife Lisa), John( wife Renea), Darrell and Carroll Phillips of the home, two grandsons, Brandon and Brett Phillips, two granddaughters, Jennifer Helton and Erin Wright; five great-grandchildren, Kylee Wright, Addison Wright, Emma Wright, Rhylee Enloe, and Easton Fuss; and two sisters, Faye Mullis of Huntersville and Opal Bryant of Charlotte.

Freida served the community as a registered nurse for over sixty years and she enjoyed serving the Lord at Yadkin Baptist Church, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and her cat.

A memorial service will be held on January 15, 2025 at Yadkin Baptist Church.  Friends will be received beginning at 1pm, and the service will begin at 2pm.  Presiding will be Pastors Jim Hamby, Robert Livingston, and James Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Caldwell County Animal Shelter.
