Gail Ramsey Hubbard, 74, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Gail retired from Caldwell County Schools after serving faithfully at Sawmills Elementary School. Her impact on the students and staff there left a lasting impression of dedication and care.

Gail was a woman of deep faith and a servant's heart. She was a founding member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she attended faithfully.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Ramsey and Irene Annas Tew.

Gail is survived by her beloved sister, Gloria Hubbard (Phillip Hubbard, Sr. - deceased)  of Granite Falls. She also leaves behind a family that was her absolute pride and joy: Patrick Hubbard and his wife, Sharon, and their son, Asher, of Granite Falls. Michael Hubbard and his children, Morgan, Mason, and Zoey, of Hudson. Dee Hubbard and his wife, Leah Beth, along with their children, Colton and Hadley of Hickory, NC, and her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Frank Denning officiating.

A gathering of friends and visitors will be held prior the service at 1:30PM in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Samaritan's Purse Shoebox Program in Gail's honor.
