Mr. Gary Lee Baldwin entered into eternal rest at 2:21 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, David Henry Baldwin, Sr. and Lois Deal Baldwin; three brothers, Dennis Baldwin, David Henry Baldwin, Jr. and Roger Dale Baldwin; two sisters, Evelyn Baldwin Barnes and Wanda Baldwin Johnson.

He is survived by his son, Chad Lee Baldwin (wife Susan); a granddaughter, Katherine "Katie" Lee-Ann Baldwin; a sister, Marilyn Baldwin Cardwell; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and the love of his life, Linda Baker Baldwin.

Gary served in the United States Army and loved to hunt and fish.  Gary graduated from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and Pastored Globe Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church in Morganton.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held at Zacks Fork Baptist Church at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2025.  Officiating will be his great nephew, Preacher Eain Kirby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Zacks Fork Baptist Church at 1509 Zacks Fork Road, Lenoir, NC  28645.
