Glenda Griffin Chandler, age 86, of Hudson passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at UNC Health Blue Ridge. She was born December 30, 1938 in Caldwell County to the late Guy and Beatrice Harris Griffin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ase William Chandler; two sisters; and one brother.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Darrell Chandler (Susan); three daughters, Helen Chandler, Debbie Hatley (Dean), and Agnes Chester (David); five beloved grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Denny, Rev. Mark Dula, and Rev. Nicky Waters officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
