Gloria C. Barlowe, 68, of Lenoir, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jeanne Mooney.

Gloria is survived by her husband, David F. Barlowe; son, Ryan Coffey and fiancé Kristen of Woodlawn, VA; granddaughter, Madison Coffey and Justin of Lenoir, NC; special daughter, Tyler and Carolyn Curtis of Lenoir, NC; granddaughter, Emily Coffey of Hudson, NC; great-grandson. Joseph McGhee of Lenoir, NC; brother, Arthur Mooney and wife Myra of Kannapolis, NC; sister, Doris Yevich and husband Michael of Shelton CT; 3 nephews; 1 niece and their families; father and mother in law, Roy and Shirley Barlowe of Lenoir NC and numerous other family members and friends.

A receiving of friends will be held at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 from 2:00pm-3:00pm.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
