Harold Rogers Barnhardt, age 90, of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at his residence. He was born August 23, 1935 in Guilford County to the late William "Barney" Ausley Barnhardt and Lucy Florence McMillan Barnhardt. In addition, his parents he is preceded in death by one step-daughter, Tina Hodge; one step-son, Charles McCloud; two step-grandsons, Hunter McCloud and Eric Andrews; and one nephew, Jimmy Bush.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Virginia Ann Burchette Barnhardt; two sons, Kris Barnhardt (Joan) and Robin Barnhardt (Christie); one step-son, Mark McCloud; one sister, Lucy Bush; three grandchildren, Chassidy Barnhardt, Samuel Barnhardt, and Stephen Barnhardt; eight step-grandchildren, Brandon McCloud, Curtis McCloud, Mercedes Warren, Austin McCloud, Dalton McCloud, Blake McCloud, Michael McCloud, and Tyler Andrews; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 12, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Ray Philyaw, Mark McCloud, Curtis McCloud, Cory Kilby, Wesley Bush, and Gary Bushy.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
